Not all prices reported by sponsors include all applicable taxes and fees. Per ticket taxes and fees that may be extra, include, without limitation:

Surcharges -- various airline surcharges from $1.50 to over $50 may apply.

Federal Excise Tax -- 7.5% of base fare (may be prorated for flights from the U.S. to Hawaii, Alaska and international destinations). A Travel Facilities Tax of up to $14 per round trip for domestic flights beginning or ending in Alaska or Hawaii may apply.

Passenger Facility Charges -- up to $18, depending on the itinerary.

Federal Segment Fees -- $3.20 per U.S. flight segment.

September 11 Security Fee -- $2.50 per flight segment with a maximum of $10 per ticket.

Non-U.S. Destinations -- for international travel, foreign and U.S. government-imposed charges of up to $200 per round-trip ticket, depending on routing and destination. Some countries charge a separate departure tax that is collected at the airport and typically must be paid for in the local currency. This tax is not included in your fare.

Checked Baggage Fees -- UA, AA, US airlines are charging $15 for the first checked bag and $25 for the second bag. Baggage policies apply each way for select flights. Other carriers may also have checked baggage fees and policies. Baggage policy and fees are subject to change by the airlines at any time.
