Why we love this deal
We checked. Similar hotels are going for as high as $150 during these same dates.Kimpton hotels stand way out from the rest ... kind of like this deal. The boutique, upscale Hotel Allegro Chicago is only $89 for Thursday-Sunday stays in January. Weekends and holidays in November and December are $10 more. Upgrade to a suite for $50 more. Other rates and dates are available.
The Hotel Allegro is adjacent to the Cadillac Palace Theatre. Check out the 2008 Tony award-winner of Best Musical, In the Heights, or the Mel Brooks gem Young Frankenstein. Walk just four blocks and you'll hit Michigan Avenue shopping and Millennium Park. Be sure to head back to the hotel for the complimentary wine and cheese hour from 5 to 6 p.m. in the hotel lobby.
